DAPHNE.LAB carries forward a footwear legacy that began with Daphne in 1987. Over decades, Daphne became one of the most recognized names in China’s women’s footwear market, building a nationwide retail presence and deep expertise in women’s shoes.

Born in 2021, DAPHNE.LAB takes that heritage into a new generation. Familiar footwear silhouettes are reworked through a younger, more experimental point of view — from statement boots and slim sneakers to ballet Mary Janes, heels and unconventional everyday shoes.

The result is not a departure from the past, but an evolution of it: decades of footwear knowledge reinterpreted through individuality, curiosity and self-expression.

OUR DESIGN LANGUAGE

DAPHNE.LAB plays with contrast.

Soft meets sharp. Feminine meets technical. Nostalgia meets something slightly offbeat. Classic shoe shapes are stretched, layered, embellished or stripped back until they feel familiar and new at the same time.

Across DAPHNE.LAB footwear, boots become taller and more sculptural, sneakers get slimmer or more exaggerated, and ballet Mary Janes move beyond traditionally delicate codes.

We are drawn to unexpected materials, unusual proportions and details that change the personality of a shoe — metallic finishes, pony hair, hardware, lace-up elements, soft textures and bold color.
